Analysis of Chia Se Programme Relevance within the Policy Making Context of Vietnam
In the consultancy services to the Chia Se Poverty Reduction Programme, a special Quality Control Group (QCG) was appointed. As Chia Se Phase I was coming to an end, the programme was in the process of analysing the results and lessons learned from five years of implementation. This process included lessons and experiences from the technical assistance to the programme, as well as from the broader development context Chia Se has worked in.
The overall purpose of the assignment was to assist the Programme Management with an analysis of the relevance of Chia Se within the Vietnamese historical and political context. The focus was on how knowledge about alternative methods is communicated and the factors contributing to these alternative methods to be adopted, or rejected.
